City Crafter #369

Hello and good morning!
It's my turn to host this weeks'
challenge at theCity Crafter.
But first I want to give a huge thanks to
someone special and dear to me.
This is the last week for

as a DT member of CCCB.

Ros has been on this team for 7(!!!) years
and decided to step down.
She wants to spend less time on the computer,
spending more time with family and
 friends and discover new crafts.
She will continue to papercraft but without
the commitment of being on a team.
I totally understand her decision.
But I will miss her so much.
Ros is a dear friend and always
encouraged me in my crafting.
I could write book about the fact
how special she is but for now
I keep it short:

To Ros:
Thanks so much sweetie.
For all that you've done.
But most of all for who you are.

On to the challenge!
I picked the theme:
"Black and white"
 Create a project and use
Black and White.
(And maybe a touch of grey)

I made a first card for Christmas;
clean and simple.

Oh so Eclectic

Last week I visited Marit and we had lovely day. Filled with crafting,  lots of talking and laughter. It has been wonderful and  Marit spoilt me rotten.  More of that in upcoming posts!
Marit and I made card with a stamp set  from Stampin'Up; Oh so Eclectic.
I used the new ink colours and created this card:

The sentiment is from another stamp  set but fits in perfect! I choose a card base in lime and  I LOVE how this turned out:

Thanks for stopping by! Stella

A little bit of the things

that kept me busy:)  This a LONG post!
But first:
and her husband are coming to Groningen! I am on cloud nine :) Ros' husband is a big (football) fan of Everton. Everton was going to play  against Groningen on July 22st. But after Ros made flight and hotel reservations  the mayor cancelled the match. But still; they are coming.  Maybe not a football match to enjoy but  we will take them on a bit of sight seeing   and some lovely dinners. And have a few good chats and lots of laughter! My men are also excited. Our youngest son Martijn went  to Liverpool in 2015 and is looking forward to  catch up with his second mum!
My absence (sorry) is due to a few things... Here is my round up from June 1st till now...
I made elderflower syrup:

I also made a few batches of granola:

I attended a workshop at Bij Oma Dee. We made interactive cards;  in fact I only made one :) Judith taught us how to make them:

We celebrated the 60th birthday  of one my sisters, I visited family, a few friends and  went out for dinner with

Shaker cards

A while ago Cornelie showed me how to
make a shaker card. And they are fun to create! A few weeks ago I made a shaker card for
Kirsty. You can find it HERE.
But before I made Kirsty's card
I made another shaker card.  And it's about time to share it:

The sequin mix is from Studio 92. The sentiment stamp and die  are from Sugar Pea designs. Gingham paper from MFT. And as usual; a sequin :)
I sent it to Miranda and she really liked it!  Thanks for stopping by; have a great day! Stella
